Description
My name is Sonny. Did you notice my beautiful, red and white coat? I'm been told I'm quite a stunning, handsome man! I'm sure they must be right!! I was rescued from an animal shelter after being picked up as a stray. How in the world did that happen to such a happy go-lucky boy like me? I LOVE to play fetch and tug of war with the other dogs living here at my foster home. I don't have any kids around, so I can't say how that would go. Most likely with my larger size, kids would probably need to be at least 9 or 10 years to understand my size. I should have a nice sized large so I could get regular exercise and live with someone that would take me for frequent walks or runs. At first, I wasn't real keen about sleeping in a crate, but now I think it's pretty cool. I get to have a quiet space all of my own. My foster mom doesn't have much time to take me for walks right now, so I could use some leash training. A refresher course on the 'basics' wouldn't be a bad idea either. I have the 'no-go in the house' thing down and think the doggie door is cool. I really like people and would so enjoy to have a family that would pamper me, play with me and take me places.
